<image:caption>Here at MMM, our gliders are our pets and family members. We do everything we can to ensure our babies will be going to the right homes, as well as that you are comfortable with knowing what you are getting when your babies come home. We do perform an interview process prior to allowing a deposit to be placed, this helps us to get to know you and for you to ask any questions you have at the time before committing. Remember, when adopting from us, we are here for you and your little one for life. You must agree to send your tentative set up and diet plan to us, as well as a final photo of when everything is set up before joey(s) can leave. Any unsafe set ups will not be approved for babies to leave until corrected. Once the interview has been conducted and you’ve been approved for gliders, a 25% non-refundable deposit is due on whatever joey(s) you choose and there will be a contract signed. The remaining balance will be due in full before your joey(s) leave our home. This does include any transport and neuter fees. If you would like to come pick your gliders up in person, we welcome you to do so. We will schedule a time in advance and will be of no extra cost to you. Transport will need to be scheduled in advance if that is what you would like to do. Please let us know during the interview process and we will schedule this with a trusted ground transport company. This cost will need to be paid directly to the transport company before they pick up the gliders from me. A supply fee of $35 will be added to the cost of the gliders to cover cage, pouch, and food. Sometimes while mommas are growing their little joeys in pouch, we may not have any babies ready. We do offer a wait list and you can be added for no cost. Once we have joeys ready for deposits, we will reach out to you in the order that you were added to the list. If you are no longer interested, we will remove you, or if you want to be skipped at that time or we don’t have what you are currently looking for, we will leave you on the list for the next set of babies. To reach out to us and be added to the wait list, please fill out the form on the Contact page and we will respond to your request as soon as possible. <image:title>Cost - Wheels</image:title>
<image:caption>A good, safe glider wheel will cost around $50. You can also purchase a treadmill, which would run around the same amount. Some vendors do packages with both for a discount.</image:caption>
</image:image>

<image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/620ea0bb53cf5063082d1863/a10b066b-387b-4bc2-ac0d-f1c0ab7b731b/DSC_9928.jpg</image:loc>
<image:title>Cost - Food & Water Dishes</image:title>
<image:caption>You can expect to spend around $15-20 on food bowls and water bowls/silos/bottles. There are also holders you can purchase for treats, as well as glider kitchens to keep messiness down, which will fluctuate your cost.</image:caption>
</image:image>

<image:title>Cost - Transport</image:title>
<image:caption>Ground transport companies are used to transport sugar gliders all over the country (illegal states excluded). If you are near your breeder, you may be able to meet up with them or go to their facility to pick up your babies. However, if you find the perfect glider for you and are not close, you can have your breeder arrage transport. Adopting gliders from us, we do offer ground transport shipping. If you are able to pick your babies up, you can at no extra cost. We will meet closer for a travel fee, or we can arrange the transportation through a transport company. This cost varies, starting around $200.</image:caption>

<image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/620ea0bb53cf5063082d1863/ffae0059-93de-4ff2-9c81-9ebaea133ae5/DSC_1951.jpg</image:loc>
<image:title>Cost - Cage Sets</image:title>
<image:caption>Cage sets and things needed for the cage include fleece sleeping arrangements (pouches, hammocks, etc), safe toys, and a cage cover. Cage sets generally average $50, but can be more for higher quality and more pieces. Just because a set is cheaper and seems like a good deal, does not mean it is safe. Toys are the same and vary in price. Some vendors make custom cage covers and will vary in price, you may also be able to purchase a cover from the vendor your purchase your cage from. We do sell toys, cage sets, and bonding accessories. Click the links below to shop now!</image:caption>

<image:caption>Sugar Gliders can cost $250 and up, depending on the circumstances. Sometimes you can find rescue gliders for a lesser price, but you also are more likely to get older gliders that have not been socialized and could be aggressive or have health issues. Our gliders will start at $250 and then prices can increase based on color, if a male needs neutered, or for breeding rights and the hets that glider carries. We do offer discounts on multiple gliders and offer payment plans for the balance after a 25% non-refundable deposit to hold the joey(s) for you. <image:title>Diet - Diet & Treats</image:title>
<image:caption>Sugar glider diets are a very controversial topic in the glider community. Gliders need specific vitamins and nutrients to thrive in captivity. Below I will list the 3 staple diets we recommend here at MMM and provide more information. The Pet Glider Diet BML OHPW GOHPW Sugar gliders do well on any of these diets, so finding the one that works best for you is key. We feed our gliders The Pet Glider diet. IMPORTANT: Sugar gliders do not do well on all pellet diets. They do not get everything they need from any formulated pellet diet. There are also many companies with unsafe food on the market, please do your research. Treats are wonderful bonding tools and can be a great addition to a balanced diet, in moderation. Yogurt drops, honey sticks, mealworms, and fish sticks are just a small list of glider safe treats.</image:caption>

<image:title>Housing - Housing</image:title>
<image:caption>Sugar Gliders are best housed in cages large enough for playing, short gliding, and to have enrichment toys and wheels inside. Cages should be 30”x18”x36” or 24”x24”x36” minimum. HQ Cages (Borneo, Congo, Brisbane, and Madagascar), Midwest Double Critter Nation (NOT ferret nation), as well as some Yaheetech and Prevue cages are good cages. The larger the better, but these all fit the minimum. Double Critter Nations and the Borneo can be customized to add more cages and room over time. Bar spacing should be no more than 1/2” to prevent escapees. In your cage, you should have a minimum of 2 sleeping pouches, 3-4 enrichment toys, and a sugar glider safe wheel. Our sleeping pouches and cage sets are safe and sewn with no exposed seams so gliders do not catch their nails on them. We also sell a variety of toys and bonding accessories. Wheels are very important for mental stimulation and glider fitness. We use Free Runner wheels and treadmills. Treadmills are not necessary if you have a wheel, but they are a good extra to have in the cage. Toys should consist of pulleys, foraging toys, and hideouts. Reset toys are great also, you can set up plastic bracelets, straws, and other small toys that gliders can carry back to the pouch to nest at night. Some gliders are tail carriers, and you can even catch them moving their toys sometimes! Toys should not be made of metal or wood. Cork, bark, and plastic are good, safe materials. Metal can cause UTIs in gliders, and some types of metal is toxic to gliders. There are some woods that are toxic to gliders, but it is also very likely to trap smells from urine and feces, making it easy to introduce bacteria in the cage.</image:caption>
